Exploring Manitoba Lakes
This summer I made it a goal to visit as many different lakes in Manitoba as possible. I want to foster a great appreciation for the natural world in my children and encourage exploration within our own province for everyone. Living in Southern Manitoba we tend to travel elsewhere to enjoy the beauty of a vacation since it's so cold here in winter, and we have no access to an ocean. My goal this summer is to explore as many places as possible within the province and then share my experiences to create awareness and a love for nature in everyone. All waterways eventually lead to an ocean so creating awareness and appreciation for the beautiful lakes in our own province will encourage others to join the fight for wildlife conservation.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic there are many local businesses shutting down and going out of business. I want to encourage people to find these local gems and support our own community. I want to give Manitoba a more positive image to the rest of the world. There are so many interesting things we can explore in our own backyard so let's get out there and appreciate the beauty of nature!
